Someone who always conveniently claims to forget their wallet at home in order to solicit favours from others. The verb form of moocher is mooch which means. (1). To borrow a small item or amount without intending to return or repay it. To get or take without paying. (2). To ask for and get things from other people without paying or doing anything for them. To beg, to sponge.
