People today are scared, as fear has taken control of our daily lives; the ever-growing fear of terrorism, epidemics, natural calamities etc. How do these fears affect us? Our beliefs are based on trust. We believe in God, and we believe in all His promises, we believe that He will take care of us and will never leave us nor forsake us. However when the fear in different forms comes in to our lives, we go back to the world. Apostle Paul was able to understand this tormenting spirit; in the book of Corinthians he says that this tormenting spirit was hindering him from doing things he wanted to do for God, Jesus faced and named the 3 demonic fears which are tormenting, unclean and evil spirits, the powers that hold you. A tormenting spirit will hinder you An unclean spirit will bind you An evil spirit will drive you King Saul also had a tormenting spirit, Saul disobeyed God, and did the forbidden, he employed the services of one woman who was a medium to consult with spirits from the dead. Saul sealed his own fate. When you go to other Gods you will have tormenting spirits. Our trust must remain in God alone. King Saul wanted David to play the harp, because when David played songs of worship it made the tormenting spirits go away for a time. In our daily lives as well satan will torment you and torture you and will bind you with unclean spirits. Satan will do anything to get you away from the plan of God. When you start taking your own decisions, God will not go with you. Let us understand from the life of King Solomon and King David, also had a tormenting spirit, because of a wrong marriage. When God gives you something you will receive peace in your life. God will bless you and go all the way with you if you are favoured by God. Take a look at your life, and the mistakes you have made, now is the acceptable time to stop making those mistakes. It is time you surrendered your life and accepted Gods perfect plans for you. Wash yourself with the Blood of Jesus and surrender yourself to the Lord Jesus Christ. LIVE IN THE SPIRIT
