Word to the wise! True beauty lies within a persons heart. Nothing wrong with finding someone handsome and or beautiful but one must look deeper than the surface to find the more important ingredients! As already communicated in my opening line, what is most important about a man and or woman is what is found within their heart. Let me expand on this .... Godliness, loyalty, honesty, purity of heart and mind, a sweet spirit, compassionate, full of joy, peaceful, generous, faithful, encouraging, wise, patient, commitment oriented, fun, a good communicator, gentle, consistent, selfless, hard worker, able to give quality time, a good listener, goal setter, loves family, protects the innocent, stands for truth, playful, sincere, serious when needed, driven for the right things, prompt, authentic, glass half full, sensitive, caring, stable, gracious, ability to be flexible and planned, realistic, practical, balanced emotionally, spiritually moving forward, humble, can admit when wrong and say, Im sorry as well as I love you when needed. No, I did not say you will find a person with all of the qualities mentioned above but if you are willing to wait on the Lord you just might be surprised or better yet, God might surprise you. And if you are married, it is my hope you will take the time to let your sweetheart know you appreciate the wonderful qualities they have been sharing with you since the day you said, I do! If single, make sure you take a good look at yourself before you start expecting someone else to have certain attributes that you do not even carry. Remember, True beauty lies within a persons heart.
