Wordplay Classic – Hermans Hello, Puzzlers, we hope you’re well. We’ve decided to revisit some of our early classic wordplays because they’re worth it! Hermans is one of our favourites. The object here is to deduce the missing forename. The name comes from the example in Word Ways, where Hermans originated: ‘She’s my woman,’ said Herman. Another classic example is, ‘I never wear underpants,’ admitted Nicholas. How many names can you register? Answers are arranged randomly rather than in alphabetical order. 1 ‘Rick phoned.
