Words cannot express the deep sadness I feel at the passing of my long time friend, Mame Reiley. I have had the privilege of knowing Mame for many, many years. She was an amazing role model and always incredibly supportive of me and my political career. She served as a mentor to so many, especially young women. While I learned a great deal from Mame, I also am honored to call her a great friend. I was thrilled to have her attend my kids bar and bat mitzvahs and as the event planner extraordinaire, her tips were always invaluable. I so enjoyed our lunches, dinners, chats on the phone and any and all opportunities to strategize about national and state politics with Mame! I will never forget my last call with her and our last text exchanges and I will treasure so many fun, happy memories of my friend, Mame. I miss her already!!!
