Words cant adequately express how moved Ive been by the words of support and encouragement since Bishop Goodpasters announcement of my appointment to the Cabinet. Tammy and I have been experiencing many different emotions since the Bishop told us of his desire. We love the people of Main Street UMC, Kernersville, and we will truly value the time that we have together until the end of June. We will miss these wonderful people, but weve always trusted that God uses the prayerful discernment of the Bishop and the Cabinet to lead us to our places of ministry. We love Gods people, especially the wonderful people called Methodist that Ive had the privilege of serving over the last 30 years. I value the United Methodist connection. Most of you that I know, I know because the Ive been sent among you to serve as a United Methodist pastor. Im grateful. Pray for us as we enter this new season of ministry.
