Words have a definition. What a word means & how it is used does - TopicsExpress

Words have a definition. What a word means & how it is used does not always equate (just think of the word - cool). A fact is something that really happened. It is true. An interpretation of fact may or may not be true. I say this because I encounter many people who unnecessarily suffer because they believe interpretations of facts that only exist in a literary text that have no historic evidence outside of the text. Being that the text is historic, literary fact is mistaken for historic fact and interpreted in a historic context. Yeah, this is confusing but important because the thought process of believing in things that may or may not be true and living as though they are true is a recipe for the mental, emotional, & physical pain otherwise called suffering. To stop suffering, one must so believing falsehoods, and discover what is true. The only thing we have to lose is pain.
