(Philippians 4:6, 7) If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7:11) Therefore do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. (Matthew 6:31,32) The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. (Nahum 1:7). The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. (Psalm 18:2). Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. (Psalm 31:24). Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19). Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. (Psalm 37:24). The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
