Words of Wisdom....Cake is cake. Please be nice to your cake!! Lately, my delivery boy (aka my husband) and I have noticed that customers want to place cakes in the seats of their cars. That practice is NOT advisable. The seat in a car is not flat, your cake is NOT safe in that position. Once I hand a cake to you, it is yours. I am not responsible for the speed bumps, railroad tracks, or small animals you might encounter on the trip to your party venue. I get a little nauseous when I see a customer place a cake that I have literally worked hours on in the seat of a car or in the back where a bale of hay was once thrown. In the summer months, cakes cannot be left in the car while you quickly run into the store. My buttercream is made of crisco and butter. It WILL not only melt in your mouth, it will also melt in a hot car. Please be kind to your cake. Thanks!!!
