Words will never be enough to describe the journey I have been on. - TopicsExpress

Words will never be enough to describe the journey I have been on. More than 6 months of fundraising and doing the hard yards. Sausage sizzles, cupcake sales, raffles, swap meats and afternoon tea. You name it we did it. Sometimes it was tough, but we had some laughs. That was the first part of our journey. This weekend we took on the mammoth challenge of walking 60 km for The Weekend To End a Womens Cancer. The hardest thing I have ever done. Exhausted and very sore. But it was so worth it. What drives and keeps you pushing through is the fact that you are walking along side survivors. You think to yourself if they can do this so can I. Thanks and gratitude go out to all my beautiful friends for your donations and continued support. All of your well wishes, support and encouragement via Facebook and texts were amazing. It was wonderful knowing you were all behind me every step of the way. 845 people participated with 2.2 million dollars being raised in Perth. Unbelievable! And Team Banking On A Cure raised just under $44,000 coming 5th over all. So a huge thank you to the team for your hard work. Well Done! What can I say? This Girl Is On Fire. Listen to this song girls Angela Miovski OggynAng Ogden Lynne Shand Jenny Johnson. This says it all. You all followed me every step of the way staying by my side. You were all my inspiration to stay motivated on this journey. I thank you all for the time you have given up. The hard work, your support and commitment. But most of all the laughs and the wonderful memories we will have to last a life time. Rest well tonight girls and I hope all our aches and pains and blisters disappear soon. I could not have done this without you all. Your support and encouragement over the weekend was out of this world. I will never forget you girls being at the finish line for us . You Rock! Exhausted and very sore. But it was worth every minute of it to be part if this amazing event. Very moving, overwhelming and empowering experience. I have done a lot of things and had some amazing experiences, But this would have to be the pinnacle so far. So thanks once again for being part of this journey and for following me every step of the way.
