Wore my black coat with the fox collar today and when I met Ruth on the bus she said she didn’t like it. Didn’t see J in the cafeteria and at first break he was up in front. Everyone kept asking us if we were going to break up but we didn’t. I’m also glad I didn’t go to that union meeting because I heard Dolores got so stinko she acted like a pig. At lunch J came by me and sat facing me although he didn’t at first. The rest of the day seemed real long but finally it ended. I got hollered at for having extra sets. J had already gone to the car and Theresa said she didn’t like my coat. After we got in he asked me if I had seen the Clark Gable movie last night and the he really went to town talking about it. I guess Theresa was jealous cause she started talking so loud I couldn’t hear myself talking to J. Of course we monopolized the conversation. He said he liked it very much and laughed when I said I drooled over him. He also said he didn’t like the movies nowadays especially war pictures. He said there was another one on tonight. Went to Ellen’s for supper and then to the show to see Doris Day in “Midnight Lace.” Went to bed late.
