Work in progress- AKA things to do with fibreglass casts when they go wrong! Ive textured the backboard- it doesnt really show too well in the picture because the paint is still wet, but Ill build up paint layers and dry brush it to accentuate the texturing. I fancy trying to make it look as though its welded into the backplate so Ill add a beading effect by dripping wax around the outline and then paint over. Then my plan is to add a rust effect using ovaltine to make it look like its really old!
