Work with the wonderful Evelyn Ojeda-Fox toward healing past birth experiences: "A woman’s experience of giving birth and becoming a mother is a unique and powerful personal journey. Each time you visit your birth story, there are new layers that become visible to you. In this Birth Story Healing Circle you will be gently guided to find new meaning in your birth story. You will have the opportunity to gather with other women in a compassionate and non-judgmental circle to explore your feelings about giving birth and becoming a mother. The group energy and the format of the circle allows for profound changes to take place. In this space you will be invited to re-examine your birth and to begin to see it and yourself in new light. We use art, guided visualization, quiet reflection, sharing and… chocolate ;-) The emphasis is on each woman connecting with her true self. This is an uplifting, insightful, hands-on experience. No sitting around listening to horror stories! No artistic skills are needed. This workshop is for you if you: • experienced a traumatic or overwhelming birth • had an unwanted cesarean • reflect on your pregnancy/birth/postpartum with disappointment, confusion, anger, guilt, shame or sadness • are trying not to think about events that happened during the birth or replay them in your mind • wonder why the birth of your baby did not go the way you envisioned it • are preparing for an upcoming birth after a challenging previous birth experience?
