Worked 12 hours shooting multi-camera video today. Very blessed. One oddly-smart thing I said once was that aspiring audio professionals should get competent in video. Reasons n stuff: 1. I get 4 video job offers for every 1 audio job offer 2. A competent video with great audio will smoke the pants off of an amazing video with shoddy audio. Human ears are more discerning than human eyes - great news for audio professionals. 3. The video offers also pay more and book more time. And in my videos, Im still working on audio 50% of the time. So Im getting paid more to do audio work that would pay less if it wasnt attached to a video. Simply put, I get more audio work when Im doing video work. So you can take that smart stuff if you want it. Or do whatevs.
