Worked a red eye flight last night and was exhausted and trying to commute home on standby this morning and the gate agents wouldnt help me out because the computer was having a problem listing me for the flight...The Delta (Shuttle America) pilot stood up for me and got in a verbal confrontation with the rude gate agent...He called a supervisor and refused to leave the gate (even if it meant taking a delay) until the agent figured out a way to get me a seat...Im so thankful for the pilots that stick up for crew members, even when they dont work for their airline!! So happy to have made it home!! #PTL
