Workers Concern As a worker in Quinn Group, now Aventas, I always thought loyalty was a key attribute of a worker so it is with some reluctance I am writing these few words. I, as Im sure were my colleagues, was very concerned by last nights article on the things going on in the Group currently as these apparent actions could jeopardise the sale to QBRC that we all would welcome. The sell-off has been obvious to everyone but I would like to draw your attention to another aspect - that some customers are now being approached with extended credit, offering in some cases massive write-offs if they pay back even a small percentage of what they owe. These are customers, some of whom who had been with the Group for over 30 years and whose business transferred from Quinns time. Seeing this would make me concerned that the QBRC consortium will be starved of funds once they take over; and worse that it is a deliberate attempt by the current management team to do so. Surely QBRC should be entitled to be paid outstanding debts, just as the current management reaped the benefits of old debts owed to former man
