Working a month in hand with no savings and trying to keep your dignity is bloody hard. But Ive found something constructive to do of an evening to fill a void rather than lying in my gonk bag bored out my skull. Day 1 of church bell ringing went well, I didnt get to have a go tonight but Ive arranged with Mike for a one to one session on Weds evening for an hour. After watching the guys play this evening I realised it isnt as easy as one would think and it has its own science. If youd have told me 20 years ago Id take up bell ringing Id probably have used some colourful language and laughed. :)
