Working during the holidays is something you do as a police officer... During our normal day we respond to a number of different calls... One call that we will NEVER get used to is possible animal cruelty. When were on our way to these calls you have to prepare yourself for what you are going to find... This is who we found today... We are going to call her Shayna she was locked in a car for approximately 3-4 days with no food or water... The cracks in the windows was so slight that I could barely fit a jerky treat in it... The interior of the car had been chewed so much you can tell she was trying to get out.. Right away when we approached the window the look in her eyes was the same one Philly had... She was wagging her tail and trying her best to reach the window to come and get us... We were able to open the door and get this precious baby out of there... We are unable to tell you outcome of theowner but Shayna will not be returning there... Shayna is a 6-12 month old female pit, who right now weighs 20lbs.. She is extremely malnourished and has ring worm... She is getting checked out by doctors and we will have another update soon... If you are able to please give Shayna a foster or forever home please email us or inbox us on FB.. Our email is phillyphoundation@yahoo Even what this girl has endured in her short life she was still running around the station greeting and loving on all of our partners and just wanting to play... She is truly what made our day yesterday... If you would like to contribute towards Shayna please follow link below: https://paypal/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=AC7PM5BPW96KE Thank you family and friends and Merry Christmas!!!
