Working in tech support I have an appreciation, and respect, for others that do the same. After chatting with two people from StraightTalk, that have no idea what the hell they are talking about, I also know why I loath tech support. When you have multiple agents working on the same case, it is the luck of the draw. I lucked out. They said it was my phone causing the activation issue. Another agent on Saturday said to contact them today at 8 am, which I did, so they could contact the carrier of the phone (Verizon) to resolve this. I asked them repeatedly if they could do so today, and they kept going back to basic troubleshooting. They finally ended up with it being my phone. I said, Ok have a nice day. Went to Google and found that if I just used the activation setup on the phone, instead of the StraightTalk activation number, it would work . Guess what? It did. So there was no issue with my phone, just one with their tech support.
