Working in the school system for the last 4yrs has given me so much clarity & confirmation about today’s youth. In my experiences and opinion, there is 1 profound solution to all the problems that exist with the babies….A FATHER… I will be honest because I truly believe most of my associates here on FB r genuine & truly do care about what I write. Sometimes I just want to cry because u can bring me the toughest, most ignorant, disrespectful savage (male/female) out here, and when I get them ALONE, it never fails, they just want a FATHER. Mothers r exhausted, I believe. They have been holding it down for so long. Even if we dnt respect the way a woman carries herself personally, the fact that she is still providing the basic of needs (food,clothes,shelter) than u have to see the value in that. To b absent doesn’t even allow those needs to be met. Listen, I will keep it real, NONE of my degrees prepared me for the type of sh#t I deal with on a day-2-day basis with these babies. All because they just need a FATHER. I can be specific about the type of father, but that’s not the point right now. No offense to anyone, but from a ethnicity standpoint, the Hispanic students I deal with takes ignorance to a whole different level, I mean I have never seen such disregard for life or respect for self in my life from any other group, BUT, their level of LOYALTY is by far the greatest that I’ve witness in my life. I have a bond with a Hispanic student who by all means no one wants anything to do with her, but I truly believe when she gets sent to me for behavioral reasons that she is ok with it and just loves to listen to me speak. That girl just wants a MAN/FATHER explaining “Life” to her and being sincere. Sorry for this damn novel. It was on my heart, so I just thought I’d share it. Peace
