Working on Legends of the Talmud (*on Kickstarter for 8 more days*) has been a deep and meaningful experience that has, for me, illuminated truths about purpose, authenticity, narrative building, the song beneath the words, and the complex beauty and tensions of human relationships-- ideas that we found in the text, worked with in our process and hopefully, will convey in our book. Here is one small example that our illustrator Aya Rosen posted, that seems particularly apropos today, as I fast for peace:
