Working well into the evening here after a run to Delaware this morning, a quick lunch out, some major produce shopping, and a stop at the vet to see Josh, who (although receiving excellent care) just about broke my heart purring and trying to get to me through the cage. His fever is down, so hell be neutered in the morning, then come home (the vacant part of our next door neighbors house) tomorrow afternoon. Litter box and food are already set up over there, and theres plenty of comfy furniture, so he should be OK with daily visits. I just wish I could afford the time to stay with him for a bit each day, but this whole episode has left me sooooooo far behind schedule! At any rate, Ill pick up his antibiotics tomorrow too, which hell need to be on for at least 14 days. In the meantime, hes had his shots, and after boosters in a couple of weeks, he should be fine. You know, if Im ever fortunate enough to win the lottery, the first thing Ill do is fund a large scale rescue operation for feral cats.
