Workout: Ran outside Good evening from Magellan Island! Today we had a great late afternoon and evening run with Dr. Lao, Kibol Sr. and Kibol Jr. from Mine Camp to New Camp. We started at 5:40pm then ended the workout at 7:00pm. The weather is good today, no rain and the road is perfect for running (not slippery but wet). Dr. Lao shared a tip on cleaning your feet after workout. After drinking your tea, keep the used tea bag and soak it to a lukewarm water then dip your feet in 20 minutes. It has antiseptic and anti-fungal effect. Fuel before the workout: coffee with honey, water and pakwan Strengthening workout: 30 pushups and 30 squats Strengthening and recovery drink: water Recovery meal: cup of rice, fried talakitok (langog in bisaya), beef teriyaki, ampalaya with egg and dessert with jackfruit and apple Quote of the day: “Except for the brain, our two feet are the only parts of the human body, for which we cling to the odd misconception that protecting them from exercise will keep them strong and healthy!.” ~ Barefoot Ken Bob Saxton Photo feature: View before the run, pakwan fruit, sunset, Dr. Lao with Kibol
