Workout Wednesday Since The Fitness Bar has been emphasizing on mental and physical fitness, I have personally noticed a change in several of my clients. They seem to be more balanced, content and positive…some are even enjoying their workouts now (with less complaining). I am so glad to see people transforming their lives, as growth of mind and body will lead to a happy and healthy life. However, I have had a few people tell me that the activities that help with mental clarity and physical/mental balance aren’t for them. They give reasons of not being flexible, not having patience, not having time, etc. All of this may be very true, but I always encourage people to push passed their comfortable zone, because it is only at that point that you will see growth. So take on something new…try yoga. It does not require a lot of time or flexibility, just your willingness to work at it. Start with just a few poses and slowly add more over time. Yoga does not have to be done for a long period of time to be effective. Just start out with a 5-10 minute session a few days a week.
