Works Manager: For one of our clients we are looking for a Works Manager. The works Manager Manages and monitors the execution part of a project or joint venture project, under the general supervision of the Project Manager. The Works Manager will report directly to the Project Manager. Key interfaces are Project Engineers, Superintendents, Crew, Fleet Staff, Purchasers and Subcontractors. Your responsibilities as a Works Manager will be: - Prepare and guide the project (mobilization, installation and demobilization). Set up execution site, coordinate importation and exportation of equipment and materials. Draw up execution plans and discuss works budget and execution principles. - Supervise, instruct, correct and motivate Superintendents, Crew, Fleet Staff and Surveyor. Ensure communication between onshore (staff) and vessel; - Planning of necessary Project Staff, Crew and equipment, draw up and check leave schedules; - Draw up estimates of required material, desired completion and production time; - Advise on purchase of new equipment or necessary adjustments to existing equipment; - Responsible for on-hire and off-hire of equipment; - Support Purchase Department in preselecting materials and subcontractors; - Note and report deviations from contracts; - Perform progress checks and take necessary actions in needed; - Provide data for the submission of installments and invoices for work performed; - Pro-actively work on production optimization and cost control; - Update the site logbook and provide information needed to draw up the project and final report; - Implement and sanction the Q-SHES plan; - Provide operational input in tenders; - Review and approve the method statements; - Approve installation drawings and manuals; - Identify critical operational aspects and mitigate follow-up during execution preparations. dlvr.it/3zbGr8
