Works are moving apace on the 20ft fence at the DEdward Volleyball Court, West Bank Berbice. This project which costs over $4 million dollars is being financed by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. On Tuesday Officials from the RDC Region 5 (B. Bisnauth - Regional Chairman, Rion Peters - Regional Vice Chairman, Govind Singh - Deputy Regional Executive Officer and Sandie Ross- Hendricks -Information Officer) met with members of the Volleyball Club as well as residents of the Community to select a Management Committee. Youths of the area were high in praises for this venture and expressed their appreciation for the interest shown in the development of Sports in Region 5. (Contractor: James Nicholson).
