Works dont save us. There is no saving to be done, really. What men call salvation is just the remembrance of who we really are that RESTORES / RENEWS us to the perfect ONEness of LOVE. That said, one who fully realized this ONEness in LOVE said that until this renewal is accomplished, we must love one another, including doing the works of LOVE: My Father worketh hitherto and I work. -- Jesus In Christ we have the works of LOVE to do, the great commission, the PURE religion of loving one another...in thought, word, and deed. Go walkabout as LOVE, visiting the widows and orphans in their distress, feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, standing in the gap in the realm of the Silent Presence I am, and thus restoring the perfection that was once covered over by a vain and prodigal imagination. Words can point to these works of LOVE, but they cannot DO the works of LOVE. For love does not stand behind pulpits preaching (whether physical pulpits or the screens upon which we preach our many doctrines with typewritten words). LOVE goes walking...its lamp filled and its wick trimmed, being the light by which all darkness is consumed. Be still and know this. “….MY FATHER WORKETH HITHERTO AND I WORK”
