Workshop for the Weekend of April 5th and 6th Saturday Day One: 10am to 12pm We will cover our photography gear and go over camera and lens setting and review the purpose of all these settings. We will use these settings to shoot in a variety of conditions to get familiar with our gear and how to adjust these settings to changing conditions/environment 12 to 1pm working lunch 1 to 6pm lighting will be the key topic and we will work with variety of lighting including natural light, flashes and continuous light. Creativity with lighting is the core of this class and you will also learn how inexpensive it is to start a basic home studio. Umbrellas, soft boxes, reflectors, diffusers including some of my home made lighting will be covered as well By the end of the day we will build a modeling portfolio and move to more creative work with, highlights, shades, back lights, angles and action shots all this in my small little living room. Day 2 Between 730 and 8am We will be meeting at my place and we will be leaving for the Gorge We are shooting at 2 or 3 locations at the Gorge and our last location will be a small waterfall at Natural Bridge. Bellow is the highlights of day two: Nature and scenery. portraits outdoors Using lights outdoors with models without disturbing nature and surroundings. Picking the right locations and angles to avoid harsh light. Working with harsh light as well as how to block harsh lights. Creativity with shutter, aperture, lights outdoors and much more :)
