Phil has been taught by 2 different teachers, has made more than 20 Drums, and has been teaching classes for 7 years. This workshop will concentrate on a particular design made popular with the availability of pre-made hoops and the availability of skins and hides. The techniques are taken from the traditional methods and updated for the use of more contemporary hoops and preparation methods. Prices range from $95.00 for 10” Deer hide to $200.00 for 24” Elk hide hoop drums. Magickal Herbalism with Lady Eva Michenet Preregistration by July 18th required Fee: $10 for supplies Age: Teen and up Lady Eva Michenet will cover the elements of magical herbalism. Lady Eva Michenet is a High Priestess of Old Craft. She has 30 years’ experience in magick and has worked with herbs for six years. You will be making ritual incense, a potion, and an elixir. Participants are to bring a mortar and pestle and three small jars in which to hold or create their products. The fee is $10 paid at the workshop and to register or ask questions email nilejade443@yahoo Silk Scarves & Veils to DYE For with Deb Preregister by July 25th in case I need to order more silk at deb_myers@ymail Fee: silk veils 35”x84 ($30), silk scarves 8”x54” & 21”x21” ($10), cut velvet scarves with 4” fringe ($25) All Ages This is a hands-on workshop where you will learn to paint a silk scarf or veil in the colors of your choice. Available to dye are silk veils 35”x84 ($30), silk scarves 8”x54” & 21”x21” ($10), and cut velvet scarves with 4” fringe ($25). Deb will set the dye and you will be able to dance with your silk Saturday evening. Deb has spent over 20 years teaching art to children of all ages. She has a strong passion for color which ends up on many types of fiber and occasionally white dogs. Preregistration is nice, then I can reserve the silk product of your choice. But there should be extra for those who decide at the last moment.
