Workshops to discuss closure/relocation of boat ramps at Port Canaveral have been announced. We have just been informed that the workshops to get public input on the closure/relocation of Freddie Patrick Park, truck & trailer parking, and the six-lane boat ramp next to Grills restaurant at the Port will be held at the Canaveral Port Authority offices located at 445 Challenger Road, Cape Canaveral in the Commissioners’ meeting room on August 15, 2013 at 9:00 AM and again at 5:30 PM. We need to make sure that we have as large a turnout as possible to impress upon the commissioners that these boat ramps, and the associated parking, are important to the community.
