World Record (1976) - Masks Hes a man of the past and one of the present, a man who hides behind a mask behind a mask; a clown, a fool, believing it cool to be down or that the game is all about who laughs the last. So he tells all his problems to his friends and relations, exposes his neuroses to their view. They accept as fact every masochistic mumble of his act-- how could they know what was false and what was true? Sometimes when he wakes he feels hes walked into a dream but all it takes to remind him things are what they seem is the belief that the man behind the mask can really dance Pirouetting smile he sees himself cavorting, Pierrot for a while before aborting to find relief in the shelter of the dark, most telling mask. After all the pantomimes are ended he peels all the make-up off his face to reveal, beneath, the tears running all down his cheeks: alone, he opens to the world...but its much too late. Hes been left, in the end, without a face. Disco Mondo (1976) - Maschere Egli è un uomo del passato e del presente, un uomo che si nasconde dietro una maschera, dietro una maschera. (1) Un pagliaccio, un buffone, che crede sia fantastico essere depresso o che il gioco consista solo in chi ride per ultimo. Così racconta tutti i suoi problemi ad amici e parenti, sottopone le sue nevrosi alla loro opinione. Loro accettano come una realtà ogni mormorio masochistico della sua recita - come potrebbero distinguere cosa è falso e cosa è vero? A volte quando si sveglia sente di essere entrato in un sogno ma tutto quello che gli serve per ricordargli che le cose sono quello che sembrano è la convinzione che l’uomo dietro la maschera sappia veramente ballare. Con il sorriso che fa piroette vede se stesso far capriole, è Pierrot per un po’ prima di smettere per trovare sollievo al riparo della sua oscura, più espressiva maschera. Dopo che tutte le pantomime sono finite si toglie il trucco dalla faccia per rivelare sotto le lacrime che scorrono lungo le sue guance: ormai solo, si apre al mondo… ma è decisamente troppo tardi. Alla fine, è rimasto senza un volto.
