World War 3 The U.S. today is an empire on the verge of collapse and like any empire in such a position it will not go down without a fight. The manifestation of the alliance known as BRICS threatens the monopoly held by the Western elite through the IMF and World bank. In addition more and more countries are renouncing the petrodollar which has ensured Americas dominance for decades. Throw in the increasing tensions in the new scramble for Africa (primarily between the U.S. and China) along with the middle East, which implicates bigger players like Russia, NATO and others -- as well regional disputes between China and Japan amongst others and it seems we are drifting closer and closer to a global conflict, much like the prelude to world war 1, which was hardly fought over the assassination of archduke Franz Ferdinand.
