Worldly counselors (psychiatrists, psychologists) can offer nothing but worldly advise. They have no life in them and are nothing but an echo of the god of this world. We who are born of God have been given an intimate, indwelling Counselor, and His written manual which He personally leads us though and empowers our change. He heals, forgives, and sets free. None of which speaking with an agent of the devil will accomplish. You will not find the voice of truth there, they are void of the Spirit of God. Read His Word, BELIEVE IT, and cast down the lies Satan has bound you in for years. ✤ 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ Your freedom will only be found in the written Word, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the blood of Jesus Christ -- and most importantly -- dying to self. You can spend hundreds of hours and dollars on worldly counselors, but will you will find no freedom there -- the strongholds will remain. Rather believe what God has told you and reject the lies. Know who you are IN CHRIST, and then walk forward in boldness and great faith. Sift though His Words night and day and believe them with every fiber of your being. It will bring truth, clarity, confidence, boldness, and FREEDOM from the old you -- for you are NOT that person anymore.
