Worldview In my opinion there are 3 worldviews that all of us have to choose from. One is what we may call a secular world view, a Christian worldview and then a biblical worldview. The secular would be life is all about you. Whatever you do you measure the return for your own purpose and benefit. Christian worldview would be that you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior but you keep business separate from your spiritual life. The 9-5 window is off limits unless its convenient. Biblical worldview is that every part of your life is lived on purpose to bring glory to God. God owns your job, business, recreation time you fill in the blanks…… he owns it all. Jesus said in Luke 12:31, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.” You cannot have two number ones in your life. So what’s going to be one and what’s going to be two? God says to put him first. Put him number one in your life, and he’ll take care of the rest. God’s will for your and my life is good, pleasing, and perfect. But we will have to have a biblical worldview that transforms and renews our minds daily to fully engage in it. All people need God and they need His truth. Most have built their businesses and homes on shifting sand. When a storm rolls in we are called to bring hope to the hopeless situations. We can bring the good news with an eternal perspective sharing through each experience. We have what they need. We have the Living Water of God’s truth that refreshes, restores, rejuvenates and revitalizes everyone at any place in life. We have a message to great to contain. We must know what we believe and why so when we share it we can help others live it.
