The I-58 (Isaiah 58:5-9) Benevolence Ministry was quite active yesterday as many people are in need (homeless, heatless, hungry, hurting). Our team strived to BEtheCHURCH by being the hands and feet of Jesus. Many guests listened to the My Hope With Billy Graham video while they waited. Pray for those who came through our ministry yesterday. Pray for their spiritual and physical health. Local: Santa Rosa Baptist Association – pray today for Director of Missions Chip Fox as he coordinates the partnership of the 40 churches of the SRBA and assists churches searching for a pastor. Country- World - An outward emphasis that remains focused on outreach, evangelism, mission and community engagement is essential for healthy churches. Where believers are a small and despised minority, or in countries where there is widespread decline in commitment to the Lord, Christians are often intimidated, fearful or just apathetic. Both the Bible and history demonstrate clearly that witnessing churches are growing churches, and the Lord of the Harvest promises that His Word will not go forth in vain.
