Worst hit in Laikipia County in KENYA where the pastoralist community to which i belong,is steeped in its culture which includes female genital mutilation and cutting,and early or forced marriages which have destabilized women for years.Domestic violence and lack of women representation in community/household decision making are common occurrences.With high illiteracy and poverty levels,our communities lacks modern living basic tools to sustain their livelihoods and those of their posterity.Women and girls bear the blunt of this situation more than men....Thou,we stand together prepared to make a difference;beginning with our thoughts,which become our words,which become our actions,which shape the future.Not only our own future,but the future of all those surrounding us as well !!!!!
