Worst mommy moment thus far occurred tonight. A persistent lingering cough brought Jack into the local ER after a viral fever. Cough for over 2 weeks, even after 3 previous doc visits. They swabbed him for RSV and Flu. Needless to say the swab process was horrendous!! I had to hold his arms down and wasnt prepared for how far up the nasal passages they go. They went up 3x. Poor Jack screamed and begged for the nurse to stop. My poor boy isnt talking to me and I cant blame him!! Thankfully all was negative including chest X-ray. New meds to run the cough out of dodge. My child is officially traumatized!
