Worth Thinking About It! #worththinkingaboutit NOWHERE...JUST THERE! Eph. 4:5-7 & Acts 9:15 Thank God He saved you through Jesus Christ. Now you have crossed the only hurdle necessary for a relationship with God- you have accepted that you cannot help yourself and have repented of your sins and have asked Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and saviour. But you must finish the course according to the rules of the game(high calling, heavenly calling and holy calling), ask yourself; Why did God save me? Pauls purpose of salvation was defined; “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name’s sake.” Every salvation is for a purpose. Every call for a purpose. It is not a general memo you received when you were saved, it is and was a specific and peculiar memo- GOD WANTS THE WORLD RECONCILED UNTO HIMSELF BY JESUS CHRIST. He uses different vessels. That is another difference between the faith of the Bible and other faiths- God uses our diversity to His glory. So ask yourself, why did he save you? Until you know, you will take any offer available out there. A story is told of what happened at a time in Ireland. During the historical Potato famine, the Irish Government wanted to help the poor people and so commissioned them to build roads even when it had not real purpose. In December 1846, about 500,000 men, women and children were at work building stone roads leading nowhere. Then some of the men asked, where the roads would lead to and the foremen confessed; NOWHERE. Some of these men resigned and left. Nobody wants to build roads that lead nowhere. Are you also building roads that lead nowhere? Paul knew and declared; ...woe unto me if I do not preach. Until you find why God saved you through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ...you are not a vessel unto His honour. Hey! You will be popular but not purposeful. You may be praise by men but not acknowledged by the TRUTH. You may get the position but loose the placement. Everyone who made their mark on the record of faith(Bible), did so living only one life, one purpose and one passion. No wonder the Bible says; There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christs gift ~(Ephe. 4: 5-7). JUST ONE...UNTIL YOU FIND THAT ONE, YOU ARE BOTH A DANGER TO YOURSELF AND TO THE REST OF SHEEP IN HIS FOLD. Now If God blesses you with money, on what will you spend it? If God takes you abroad to preach, what message will you preach out there or bring back to the people? If God opens your eyes to see what He wants you to do, will you still see Him as a loving father? Do you know why He saved you? NOWHERE IS NOTHING, JUST IN THAT ONE PLACE IS HIS PLAN. Shalom!
