Worth watching to get an idea how out of touch some of the left-wing activists are regarding the state of the country. At the UAF Conference 2014, speaker Owen Jones appears to claim that UKIP is a construction of the establishment designed to deflect peoples attention away from the real people who have caused the mess we are in, who in Owen Jones eyes are:- Bankers who plunged the country into economic catastrophe(?) There is no mention of the financial ineptness of the last Labour government, nor of the fact that it was that Labour government that bailed out the bankers and leaving the country in 2010 with a annual government deficit of £150 Billion. There is also no mention of the PFI scheme which was used by the Labour Party to provide extra public funding, nor the war costs relating to the Iraq debacle. No mention of the fact that UKIP was formed 20 years ago, when John Major was PM. No mention of the Maastricht Treaty signed in 1991 or the Lisbon Treaty signed in 2007, and no mention of the lack of referendums on major issues of state. youtube/watch?v=_9xTGKdo4nQ
