Worthy of a share and tells the reasons I am a Freemason? A Class above the Rest They call themselves Freemasons, are no different from me or you, Are extremely high of opinion, have a different point of view, When disaster strikes all over this world, they are the first to give a helping hand, Yet they are denounced by many folk, who don’t really understand, Exactly what this fine organisation is all about, how they have stood the test, The reason is Freemasons are a class above the rest. A group of men, who gathered so many years ago, To help their fellow man against abuse and poverty, in God they are betrothed, They are not a religion as such, but do believe in the Supreme Being, The good work they carry out, throughout this world, is definitely worth seeing, An honest group of men, who believe in laws, as well as establishing good order, Who are first introduced to charity, as soon as they have joined this order, To help our fellow creatures out, when they suffer hard times and are of need, Dig deep into our pockets, to fund the widow and the orphan for to feed. We never ask for credit, for the good deeds that we do, Although I do wish that other people, would take a better point of view, For we have never forced our ethos, upon the outer world, Although our gifts of charity throughout this world, under our banner we unfurl, We ask for nothing in return, reward, favours, notoriety we do not lust, Our reason for involvement is our motto, which is “In God we do trust”, To make this world a better place, for a Freemason is his goal, For we believe, our reward we shall receive, When we appear before our Judge Supreme, and he welcome’s in our soul.
