Would anybody out there have any insight on djumbos behaviour today?? He is 4 months old and have not seen him act this way. He seems bummed out. No real motivation to be the energetic little bruiser I know him to be. After work today I decided to take him for a walk. When normally when he sees me grab the leash he goes crazy with excitement. However today I couldnt even coax him in from the back yard. Then during the walk he would slow down ,Stop, and sit down. He refused to walk. On and off leash. Didnt matter what I did. He has a very loving home. Gets all the care he needs and even has a little pom chi companion to play with. He is never abused or yelled at. If it was someone elses dog I would feel that maybe he isnt being treated the best. Because I know pugs, quite well. And know they are extremely sensitive and emotional animals. But I also know that this is not the case (to my knowkedge) Hmm...I suspect he may be getting sick. .. is this typical for a pug with a cold? Perhaps he ate something odd as he was heaving a little while carrying him over my shoulder during the walk. So not like him. Any input would be appreciated greatly.
