Would like to update you on SEAI’s 2014 home energy grant programmes namely Better Energy Homes and Better Energy Warmer Homes. To date, €283 million has been invested in helping over 263,000 homeowners to reduce their energy bills, while supporting over 2,300 jobs. Two schemes worth looking at: 1. Better Energy Homes - offers homeowners grants for roof insulation, wall insulation, heating systems and solar panels. This scheme will remain open into 2015. Applications can be made online at seai.ie/betterenergyhomes or by calling 1850 927 000. 2. Better Energy Warmer Homes - is available to eligible low-income homeowners and provides free energy upgrades including attic & cavity wall insulation, draught proofing, lagging jackets, energy efficient lighting and energy advice.
