Would you believe I have yet another rock & roll birthday to share? He was born Glenn Martin Tilbrook this August 31, 1957. He helped form this band in Deptford, England in 1974, but initially broke up in 82. The band reformed in 85, but disbanded yet again in 99. They have reunited over the years for touring in the U.S. & U.K. starting in 2007. He co-wrote this track along with Chris Difford, but its actually Paul Karrack, the bands keyboardist on lead vocals for one of the bands most famous songs. It not only was used in commercials for Burger King & Heineken, but another late 70s singer/songwriter in Elvis Costello co-produced this track for their East Side Story album in 81.
