Covering the very basics of sewing: fabric selection, getting familiar with your sewing machine, practicing stitches, measuring, seaming, backstitching and more. You will learn a technique to finish the pillowcase without raw edges. This is a great project to make as a gift for preschoolers to college students! We will make a beautiful linen pillow with flat trim. The class will cover mitered corners and sizing pillows to the correct form.
