Would you like to learn how to write about your research for different contexts, like conference presentations & journal articles? Then register NOW for TOMORROWs Changing Research Contexts workshop in the Teaching, Learning and Professional Development Center: Changing Research Contexts: The Practice of Re/framing your Work for Theses, Presentation, & Publication Dr. Stacey Jocoy Tuesday, October 28th, 12:30 – 1:30 pm Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development Center, room 151 Many scholars, especially in the early phases of research, have a hard time conceptualizing how that short conference report could ever become a substantial chapter in their dissertation. Similarly, how does one quickly reframe that 40-page chapter into a twenty-minute report for an up-coming conference? Scholarly work is constantly undergoing format shifts to accommodate our changing audiences. It is therefore important to have some strategies for dealing with this, which will make the process smoother and even perhaps enjoyable. Lunch will be provided! To attend, please register online at tlpd.ttu.edu; scroll over “Events” and click on “List of Events” to sign up.
