Would you return the extra money a cashier hands to you by mistake? Would you speak up if you saw blatant discrimination taking place? Would you expose a fraud being perpetuated by someone? Would you confront a bully or stay silent and simply walk by? Or would you try to side with or pander to the bullys ego? Would you return someone elses goody bag a mall guard hands to you by mistake? Would you directly and fearlessly call out an acquaintance or a stranger for the wrong they are doing? Or would you stay silent because it was not done to you? Would you only speak up if/when you were/are directly affected? These and other questions that test your fibre.. Would you do the right thing? Would you help a fellow human being? Or even an animal in need? Just because. The bottomline. Been binge watching(as a commentor says) episodes of What would you do? As someone who did not know about this show till sometime back, I am glued to it. Questioning my own self sometimes, vehemently nodding a yes at others...and absolutely torn at other times. Ethical dilemnas...moral questions.... (I also loved the way the psychology professors explained the why behind the actions(or lack of any) of people at times) For so many of those who do not speak up, who choose not to speak up, not help...there comes along one awesome human being who does. Who makes you believe. In a country like ours, we need this. This speaking up for those who cant or are not able to. To speak against the discrimination that goes on right under our noses.
