Wouldnt change today for the world, even though it meant being in the car again for 4 more hours and that I practically melted in the heat. I got to spend the day with my brothers, Grant and Greg and my best friend Melonie for the first time in a long time. I got to see the fabulous Kayla, Austin, Lexie, Lydia and Mandy as well as one of our favorite nurses ever.. Molly. It was hard not to get a little emotional when I looked across the field at the student section and could almost imagine how excited Kayla was to be at her first game as an Auburn University student and how proud I am of her. It was also hard to be emotional too long because I was afraid of having a heat stroke, so I was also having a bit of an anxiety attack. And then theres this…. out of 87,000 + people that I could have sat by at the game today, I sat by a man who asked me about all the bracelets I wear, my cancer bracelets. I told him about Kayla, Kenzie, Luke, and Zachary. He said… Oh…. Kayla Perry? Weve been following her story and praying for her since she was in Africa. What a small small beautiful world. And a hot hot beautiful day!
