Wouldnt it suck to be a teenager again? The awkwardness, the pressure, too fat, too skinny, too poor, etc… Saw this video today and it confronted me with the fact that some people are in misery and too often I am not doing anything much to help situations… I think it was Spurgeon that said if you are blessed with a relatively easy life than God has done that for you so you can help others. Most people are so medicated with convenience and stuff, so concerned with themselves and whats convenient for them. There was nothing convenient about the Cross. Dont bring me down or kill my buzz bro… is the motto of so many. If you have had a tough life and arent using what you learned to help others you are missing something wonderful. There is no fulfillment in pleasing your self or sustaining comfort zones, acquiring things… I mean what does this world largely offer but to retire one day and coast on out into nothingness… Chances are there are probably kids just like this one in this video living on your same block… Or in your house… I post this not to be mean or condemning but as a wake up call. We need to be diligent in prayer asking God how He wants to use us, personally, individually, each one of us.
