Wow - here is the latest evil scum spam email thats likely to panic people with debts (no shortage of those at the moment), amongst other legal worries, and will probably catch out quite a few, making their already miserable lives even worse when their computers become unusable: Notice to Appear, Hereby you are notified that you have been scheduled to appear for your hearing that will take place in the court of London in January 31, 2014 at 10:00 am. Please bring all documents and witnesses relating to this case with you to Court on your hearing date. The copy of the court notice is attached to this letter. Please, read it thoroughly. Note: If you do not attend the hearing the judge may hear the case in your absence. Yours truly, L.McNamara Plus attachment, of course. The email address is this person at scotcourts.gov.uk - which of course is weird in itself for obvious reasons but the gov.uk will trip up a few people who dont know how to recognise malware spam. I know its rife and I, like everyone else, get bombarded with this time wasting crap every day, but I still cant help being really angry about the endless stream of sneaky attempts to con people into clicking dangerous links. Ive no idea where the links go or what specific harm they do, so I cant even guess how the originators profit from the clicks. I just wish they would all have an unbearable attack of conscience and top themselves. :-(
