Wow - thanks everyone who came! The new room is cool esp with airconditioning! What a buzz. Lou Steer as Almitra in full extended remix flow, Michele Seminara winning us with her fine work and an especial treat in reciting a work from poet Stuart Barnes. Loko One reignited his hip hop chops from out Fairfield way and DJ Spex was great on decks. Open Mic - incredible again! Author Drew Gates three published works and his current Crooked Beat available through Green Ant Press ended our evening led up from first timer Phil knocking us out with spoken insight on politics, world and family, Des Pensable and the spoonerist origins of the sphinx, Susan Sleepwriter amazing and featuring at WordinHand! MAY 6TH (GO!!) and writing graduate from Wollongong U Michelle charming us with verses on Orpheus. No thunder came as the weather predicted - but was that really the case? Tonight made The Blue Space! Poetry Jam beam with optimism about our planned album. Three or more talents stood out. Looking forward to the next Third Thursday.
